Information we handle

When you make an enquiry, we handle the details you provide: your name and contact details, vehicle make, model and size, requested treatment, an optional preferred date and your notes. Email enquiries carry a random reference to help identify the enquiry, and we check whether your email domain can receive mail.

Please include only information needed to discuss your car and the service. You choose whether to enquire; fields marked as required are needed to handle the request. The form does not take payment or confirm a booking.

Hosting and security services process connection information such as IP addresses, requested pages and browser details. Temporary rate-limit records help prevent abuse of enquiries and reviews. The rate-limit windows are separate from any hosting or security logs.

We display public review text, ratings and reviewer names from Google Maps, with links to the original reviews. Reviewer photographs and the embedded map connect your browser to Google only if you allow Google content.

Unless you opt out, the website records each page you view: its address without any query string, its title, the site that sent you or the campaign named in the link you followed (utm_source), your approximate town and country, the type of device and the family of browser you use, when you start or send the enquiry form (not what you type), and when you use an enquiry, call or directions link. These statistics use no cookies, and your IP address is not kept. If you opt out, your browser keeps a note of that choice so it is respected on later visits. If you choose “Accept all”, a random identifier saved only for this website also lets us recognise this browser on later visits; “Reject all” or opting out removes it and asks for earlier visits to be unlinked from it, while keeping visit counts. They are provided by Jakal Studio, from JAKALLABS LTD, on our behalf and are hosted in the UK. You can opt out at any time, and a browser that sends Global Privacy Control is never counted. Our cookie information explains how to opt out. We do not load advertising scripts on this website.

Why we use it

Answering your enquiry

To discuss a treatment, provide a quote and take steps you request before a service contract. We use the contract lawful basis for those requested steps, and legitimate interests in responding to ordinary questions and correspondence.

Keeping the site and enquiries secure

To detect abuse, apply rate limits and maintain reliable services. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in protecting the business, visitors and services, taking account of your rights.

Visit statistics

To understand which pages and services people look at and how they found the site, so we can improve it. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests. UK law allows statistics used only for this purpose without asking first, as long as we tell you and you can opt out. You can opt out at any time through Analytics choice, and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as an opt-out.

Optional Google content

The map and reviewer photographs are enabled only with your chosen consent. You can change or withdraw that choice through Analytics choice at any time.

Displaying public reviews

We use public Google review information to help visitors understand the service, relying on our legitimate interests in sharing genuine customer feedback. Reviews include attribution and links to their source.

Submitting an enquiry does not sign you up to marketing. This notice covers the website and contact options described here.

Who receives it

For an email enquiry, the website sends your details through Resend to BDetailed’s iCloud inbox and sends a confirmation to the email address you supplied. BDetailed uses the message to respond to your enquiry. There is no separate website enquiry database; messages and delivery information are still handled by the email providers and the business inbox.

For a WhatsApp enquiry, selecting the WhatsApp action places your details in a prefilled external WhatsApp link. You decide whether to send the message in WhatsApp. Opening that link shares its contents with the external service; sending the message shares them with the business.

  • JAKALL Labs (Jakal Studio)Unless you opt out, JAKALLABS LTD (company 17507001, Unit 12, Mica Close, Tamworth, B77 4DR), which builds and looks after this website, processes them for BDetailed through its Jakal Studio service, hosted in the UK. It keeps the statistics for up to 13 months, and only on BDetailed’s behalf.

How long we keep it

How long enquiry correspondence is needed depends on whether the enquiry is still active, whether it leads to a service, whether follow-up is needed, and whether a record is required for a legal obligation or to resolve a dispute. These criteria apply to email and WhatsApp correspondence rather than a fixed period for every message.

You can ask Brad to review or delete information that is no longer needed. A request is considered alongside any continuing need or legal requirement to keep the record. Hosting, security and email providers also apply their own record-retention arrangements, described in their privacy information.

Visit statistics are kept for up to 13 months and then deleted. An opt-out stays in place until you clear this site’s stored data or opt back in.

Your Google content choice is valid for 180 days on the same browser. The preference record contains your choice and dates, not your enquiry details. An expired record no longer permits Google content, but can remain in browser storage until replaced or you clear the site’s data.

International processing

Some of the providers listed above may process personal information outside the UK, including in the United States. Their privacy information explains their international processing and published transfer arrangements. A sending region or server location does not necessarily determine where all provider records are stored.

Cloudflare and Resend also publish data-processing terms that describe their transfer safeguards. You can read those terms below, or contact Brad with questions about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances and the lawful basis used, you may have rights to access your personal information, correct it, request deletion, restrict its use, object to processing or receive information in a portable form. Some rights have exceptions and do not apply to every type of processing.

Your right to object. You can object to use of your information based on legitimate interests by contacting Brad. We will consider your circumstances and any applicable exceptions.

We ask once, on your first visit, whether you allow or refuse these choices. You can opt out of visit statistics at any time using Analytics choice. Opting out stops future statistics from this browser straight away. Browsers that send Global Privacy Control are never counted or asked.

You can withdraw consent to Google content at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew it.

Contact Brad at brad.bullows03@icloud.com to discuss a request. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office if you are concerned about how your information is handled.
